Awareness: An awareness of one’s own personality or individuality
Let me ask you this question.
If nothing changed in your life in the next 5 years, would that be okay?I mean everything in your life—your health, your relationships, your friends, career, feelings of fulfilment, achievement, and so on.
Let’s move the calendar ahead 5 years.
- You are the same person.
- The conditions in your life are the same as they are today.
Is that okay?
For the majority of you, it would not be.
But is this not the same question we ask all our coaching clients no matter what the context? What do they want to develop, change, shift or improve? Self-awareness for our clients is foundational to any coaching process no matter what methodology we employ.
Many of you have heard the definition of insanity which is to continue to do the same things over and over and expect different results. If you want different results, you must change what you are doing and/or the way you are doing it.
